Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako Impeached

There are reports that the governor of Adamawa state, Murtala Nyako has been impeached by the State House of Assembly

Report says that the governor was removed while the members of the House deliberated on the reports presented by an investigative panel looking into allegations of financial misconduct against him
.

Earlier, the state Deputy Governor, Bala Ngilary, resigned from office to avoid impeachment.
