Obesere to shoot movie about rape scandal

Fuji musician, Abass Akande also known as Obesere was recently accused of rape by a businesswoman who claimed that he had taken advantage of her and inserted a ring into her vagina.
Obesere, who maintain his innocence, is said to have begun plans to shoot a movie about rape which will reportedly set him back a whopping N20 million.


According to reports:

Obesere has written a script about rape and is currently shopping for artistes who will fit into the characters. It is not yet certain if the famous musician will be starring in the movie, but prominent artistes are sure to take the lead in the movie.
Unconfirmed reports also have it that a total sum of N20 million has been budgeted for the project.
Further digs revealed that the movie is to expose men and women who blackmail people with rape scandal and to capture tricks and methods used by rapists.
Explaining further, Obesere’s publicist, Deola Adeoti said, “the movie is targeted at unraveling the mystery behind the rape scandal.”
“A whole lot of things have been read and said about him in the past few weeks, but I think this movie will tell the world the plain truth,” he added.
